Information for Students: 

The Academic Writing Unit (AWU) is a writing centre for EMU students. The Unit aims to help final year undergraduate and graduate students gain a critical awareness of their strengths and weaknesses in writing and thereby help them develop their writing skills.

In order to achieve this aim, we offer both individual tutorial sessions and group workshops. Short courses may also be designed and conducted according to demand.
